So I decided to attend this event. Ya'll can rest easy, it will be fun now that the life of the party is going. Hopefully looking forward to this will cheer me up as I have been in a funk now since this weekend. Darn life and the funny situations it puts you in. Happy, sad, happy, sad, drunk, sober. I plan to be a good girl all week - eat right, work out, stay home not party, until Friday. We'll see if THAT happens. I'm so weak! Not physically weak but mental. I even have a t-shirt that says EASY. Time for a check list, biotcheeezzz.

1) Brass Monkeys! Think Donnie has this covered but I will def have backup.

2) Schnapps for "please pass the schnapps"

3) Happy Schnapps combo CD. It just plain rocks. "start sucking" - "Please Pass the Schnapps" - "Da Bears Still Suck" - and "we can get drunker that youssss" are just a few of their non-award winning hits.

4) Line dancing!! Cha cha slide, Bunny Hop, Electric Slide.....(rubbin I don't have a song for that last one - hook us up!). I'll bring those other tunes

5) School uniforms - guess my kilt will have to do for this. May even have to wear the glasses. We dressing as school kids for the pub crawl? Dang, I've worn that outfit 4 times in the last 4 months already!

6) Beer Pong - Donnie got this covered too I think! I'll bring extra balls. Although i only have one - guess I'll have to cheat and buy some. Are honorary kimchis allowed to purchase them? I'll also bring extra cups. Now if we can find some cute plastic cups with smiley faces....

7) Dice - duh!

8) Apple pie shot ingredients......one word..yum!

9) Poker stuff? Would love to play some hold 'em but I got no chips.

10) Hall & Oates, Richard Marx, ABBA, - of course.

11) bocci ball - anybody got a set? Fun stuff when the closest and furthest gets a shot!

I know I'm forgetting stuff, thus the reason for a list (I give credit for the list making to the kimchis, although I have been a list maker for years. But they need all the credit they can get since they don't got much)

Woo Hoo!! It's WTF Friday!

So I get this email from Cuntinental Airlines yesterday.....yesterday February 8th. YESTERDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH! It was to inform me that my itinerary for my flight to Colorado Springs has changed and that "Your Continental Express flight will now be operated by Chautauqua Airlines under a new flight number. All flight dates, times, departure and arrival gate information remains the same." This was for the flight I took last Thursday on February 1st!!! February 1st!! WTF???? Same flight I also had to wait on for an hour and a half because we were waiting on a flight attendant to come in from another flight! Hello, I'm in HOUSTON - the home of Continental. Can they not just call somebody in???? I should call and complain and tell them I want a credit. It's a good thing there was a brass monkey waiting for me in the Springs parking lot...

Beer & Cameras DON'T MIX!! ARRGGGG!

So I have had my wonderful Canon Powershot Digital Camera for less than a year and now it won't work. How could that happen you might ask? Apparently they don't like being submerged in your cup of beer while you are drunk. Don't know how it got there or how long it stayed. I guess I drank too much too early (then I find out people were sneaking Jager shots into my mouth) and in the course of talking to other hashers, somehow the hand that had my camera hanging on it happened to be directly above the hand with the beer cup in it. Thus, submersion. Can't believe I didn't notice. I remember seeing it and thinking "shit!" as I raised it and liquid dripped into my cup from the camera. (hey, i didn't waste the beer!). So after a conversation with a cute Canon rep (nah, I dunno what he looked like but he sounded cute so he was probably NOT), here are my choices. Send it in and if they can fix it, it will cost me $89 plus $8 shipping. OR I can exchange it for a refurbished one for $99 plus $10 shipping. Or I can scrap it and get a new camera (original value was $195). OR I can open it up myself and look around. What to do? I know I'm not the only one who has damaged something whilst drinking.
